Further, members of the SSE-SL dynamically contribute to a number of policy formulating committees related to construction industry which were set up by well reputed institutes such as Urban Development Authority, Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA), Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI) etc. The Society organizes programs such as Conferences, Seminars, Workshops & etc. frequently in order to create an opportunity for the Structural Engineers and other professionals connected with the construction industry to enhance their knowledge in planning, designs and construction of structures.
