Sensei is a Japanese term that means ‘Teacher / Instructor" However, receiving a Black Belt Diploma does not mean you are qualified to teach karate.

A teacher (Sensei) is not only responsible for teaching karate techniques, but also for guiding students in discipline, leadership, and good character. A person who receives a black belt diploma should assist senior instructors, continue learning, work toward earning teaching qualifications, and focus on developing their teaching skills.

We are excited to announce that Mr.D. Anto Dinesh, MBA, has successfully passed the Asian Karate Federation (AKF) International Judge Examination held on 3rd July 2025.

Shihan.Anto Dinesh currently serves as the Chairman of the National Karate Selection Committee.

He is also a National A-Grade Judge & Referee in Sri Lanka and an A-Grade Judge & Referee with Karate Ontario, the official sport governing body for Karate in Ontario, Canada.
