Our Captain won the toss & elected to bat first on a rain affected game, we managed to get to 207 - 9 in our 40 overs. Supun & Maaiz opened the innings and got into a good start. As always it was SUPUN RATHNAYAKE with 49 runs before he got out. Wickets felt on the other side but YOHAN anchored the innings with a crucial 35 runs with the support of the lower order. Standout performance from SALITHA as well with a valuable 25 runs.

In reply Ranabima Royal College got into a good start but we fought throughout the innings. It was the game changing over from BINUSHA YASHIKA a magical spell of 3 - 28 with a first ball wicket. Then came YOHAN with 2 wickets as well, Supul & Nilanjana from Ranabima gave us a hammering on the way but our fielding was up to point that managed to slow down them, including 2 sharp catches from the Captain GEETH VITHANAGE & Vice Captain GAUTAM ASHOK ! At last it was SAGARA ABEYWARDANA who wrapped up with the winning wicket & a 3 wicket haul as well.
