Kandy Sports Club remains committed to the growth of rugby in Sri Lanka and to ensuring our players are given every opportunity to perform and represent the country. Due to significant financial and logistical constraints, the club requested to participate in the Kandy leg of the 2026 Club Sevens Series or consider a postponement, keeping both our athletes and supporters in mind.
While the tournament will proceed as scheduled without our participation, we thank our loyal fans, partners, and the Kandy rugby community for their continued support.
