The Efficient Research and Development Institute with funding from UNDP/OHCHR concluded a 2-day training for 10 women CSOs in Nimba County on the identification and reporting of SGBV cases, creating awareness, and the Monitoring of the SGBV Specialized Criminal Court E situated in Sanniquellie, Nimba County. The training was made possible through the UNDP/OHCHR Joint programme title: Strengthening the Rule of Law in Liberia: Justice and Security for the Liberian People. Which is been implemented by the Efficient Research and Development Institute.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Liberia has agreed a partnership with the Efficient Research and Development Institute (ERDI) Inc. to implement the Strengthening the Rule of Law in Liberia: Justice and Security for the Liberian People Programme. Under this partnership, ERDI will strengthen the capacity of women-led CSOs to form network and monitor the efficiency of the Criminal Court E as well as provide legal aid and psychosocial support to victims and survivors of SGBV in Nimba County, Liberia.

Under its Education program 'Vulnerable Student Scholarship Program (VSSP)', the Efficient Research and Development Institute (ERDI) with funding from the Moth. Sarah Williams Gardea Scholarship Foundation based in the US has identified and provided 100% scholarship support including tuitions, admission fees, and academic materials such as uniform, book bags, shoes, copy books, and the likes to 10 primary school students in Nimba County, Liberia. The first set of supplies were provided April 27, 2021 with more support to come soon. This phase which is a pilot intervention will be extended to hundreds of students in other rural counties of Liberia. Special courtesy to Mr. McDonald Gardea.
