NOTICE

In early 2025, the solar power system at the Ganta Youth Center experienced damage, and the inverter was not supplying electricity to the building.
We are pleased to inform the public that the system has now been successfully restored and is currently undergoing a one-week testing period. Today, a new inverter was purchased at the cost of USD 250.

Through commitment and teamwork, the issue has been resolved. We extend special thanks to our dedicated staff for their loyalty, and sincere appreciation to Mr. Jerry Quoi for his valuable support and guidance throughout the restoration process.

Four of our volunteers at the Ganta youth center ministry of youth and sports today successfully completed the one-day Digital Summit organized by Impact Liberia. We extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Amb. Alieu D. Sasay for his leadership and the opportunity provided. This training has added great value to our team and strengthened our digital capacity.

The Local Office of the Ministry of Youth and Sports – Ganta Team is pleased to announce the completion of repair work on the fence securing the solar panel area.

Some time ago, the space was exposed, creating a risk where criminals could easily break in and steal the solar panel. Today, we are happy to report that the team has successfully completed the fixing of the fence, restoring safety and protection to the facility.

We appreciate the hard work and dedication of the team in ensuring the security of our assets and the smooth operation of our programs.

🎓 Congratulations to Our Youth Literacy Graduates! 📚
As Center Manager of the Ganta Youth Center under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, I am honored to announce that 171 learners have successfully completed the first phase of our Youth Literacy Program — spanning five transformative classes.

This achievement reflects the dedication of our students, the tireless efforts of our coaches, and the unwavering support of our county coordinators, Amb William S. Mandein and Jerry Quoi Your commitment continues to inspire us all.

Special thanks to the Luminos Fund for making this journey possible through generous support and belief in the power of education.

👏 Today, we celebrated 15 exceptional learners who never missed a day and maintained strong academic performance — each receiving $75 USD as a token of appreciation.

We’re excited to announce that the second phase of the program will officially begin in November 2025. The journey continues — and the future looks brighter than ever!

Success Story: Youth Literacy Program Completed! at Ganta and Sanniq Youth center ministry of youth and sports.

We’re proud to announce the successful completion of our 6-month Youth Literacy Program, held at both the Sanniq and Ganta Youth Centers under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. This transformative initiative empowered 300 out-of-school youth, equipping them with essential literacy skills and renewed hope for the future.

Graduation Date: October 24, 2025 at the J.W. Pearson High school.
A moment of pride as these young minds step forward, ready to embrace new opportunities.

Activities today at the Ganta youth center.

Today, I am deeply grateful and joyful, giving thanks to Almighty God for the gift of life and for the strength He continues to grant us.

I also want to sincerely appreciate our coordinators Amb William S. Mandein and Mr.Quoi for the opportunity given to us to serve the young people of our community. Over the past months, my team and I have worked tirelessly, and through dedication and commitment, we have been able to achieve the following milestones:

✓ Successfully completed a two-month children’s vacation program where the kids were actively engaged in learning and positive activities. They gained knowledge, skills, and mentorship that will help shape their future.

✓ Actively running the Youth Literacy Program, which now operates in five centers: three located at the Ganta Youth Center, one in Konahvillie, and another on Dorr Cooper Avenue. Special thanks go to our dedicated coaches—Kingsley Kollie, Loretha Konah, Abraham Goanah, and Dave Kardea—for their tireless efforts in enlightening and empowering the minds of young people in Ganta City.( Luminos Finds)

✓ Successfully managing the A4AD (Action for Adolescent Development) Program at the Ganta Youth Center. Under this program, we are currently running several skill-building initiatives, including soap-making, hairdressing, pastry, and Alternative Basic Education (ABE) with three levels (1, 2, & 3). All these programs are fully active and making a great impact. (UNICEF)

✓ Upgrading our facilities: Through the children’s vacation program, mentorship sessions, sports activities, and the computer training program, we have been blessed to acquire a 43-inch smart TV and DSTV connection for the Ganta Youth Center. This will further enhance learning, entertainment, and exposure for the youth who make use of our center.

✓ Additional, the practical positive thinker with a growth mind set of Liberia in collaboration with the Ganta youth center ministry of youth and sport graduated 12 young people from a mentorship program.

As we continue to lead, we remain committed to doing the needful for the growth, empowerment, and development of our young people. I encourage everyone to join us in the positive change we are building. Let us not destroy the progress we are making with negativity or discouraging talk. Instead, let us stand together, support each other, and keep pushing forward for a brighter future.
