National county meet 2025-26 finalist, Nimba County boys have arrived at the Samuel Kayon Doe complex in coat suits ahead of their match against Grand Kru county.

Margibi County Clinches Kickball Gold at National County Sports Meet.

Margibi County emerged champions in the kickball category of the National County Sports Meet after edging Grand Cape Mount County in a thrilling final on Sunday.

The closely contested encounter ended in a 1–1 draw at regulation time, forcing the match into a penalty shootout. Margibi held their nerve from the spot to defeat Grand Cape Mount and secure the gold medal.

The victory crowns an impressive campaign for the Margibi girls, who displayed resilience and determination throughout the tournament.

Congratulations to the Gibi girls on a well-deserved championship triumph.

Nimba, the record carriers, reached the grand final for the first time in three years. Grand Kru are into the final for the first time in six years.

Both sides met in the final in 2020 with Grand Kru becoming the winner after a chaotic end to the match with Nimba walking off the pitch in the second half with Grand Kru in the lead.
