Press Statement by the First Time Voters of the Proposed People’s Action Party (PAP).

Fellow Liberians,
Fellow young people,
First-Time Voters of the People’s Action Party and Liberia at large,
Patriotic citizens of our beloved Republic, the press, revolutionary greetings.

We rise today with a voice that must not be silenced, a conscience that must not be compromised, and a message that must reach every corner of Liberia.

LIBERIA MUST NEVER BECOME A SAFE HAVEN FOR DRUG TRAFFICKERS!

We commend the Government of Liberia for taking the fight against drug trafficking seriously so far.

This is not a fight that belongs to one political party, one institution, or one individual. It is a fight for the survival and future of Liberia.

Drugs are destroying dreams. They are weakening families, exploiting vulnerable young people, and creating opportunities for criminals to profit from the pain of our communities.

And we, the young people of Liberia, are saying,
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

We refuse to watch our generation become victims of a criminal economy.
We refuse to allow Liberia to become a transit point, marketplace, warehouse, or safe haven for those who traffic substances that destroy the future of our people.

NO ONE SHOULD BE EXONERATED!
Let us make this absolutely clear; no one should be exonerated because of his or her political position, wealth, influence, family name, connections, or power.
If the evidence establishes criminal responsibility, the law must take its course.

There must be no sacred cows.
There must be no “he is too powerful.”
There must be no “she knows important people.”
There must be no “leave him alone because of his position.”

Justice must not have a political party. Justice must not have a bank account. Justice must not recognize status.
The poor and the powerful must stand equally before the law.

As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

THE YOUTH ARE LIBERIA’S POWERHOUSE
Let nobody misunderstand us.
The young people of this country are the oasis of Liberia.
We are the powerhouse of this nation.
We are the hands that will build the next Liberia.

We are the minds that will engineer its future.
We are the entrepreneurs who will create its businesses.
We are the professionals who will run its institutions.
We are the leaders who will inherit this Republic.

OUR FUTURE MUST NEVER BE PLAYED WITH!
We cannot allow drug traffickers to turn our generation into customers, couriers, addicts, or instruments of criminality.
Instead of drugs, give our young people skills.
Instead of criminal networks, create opportunities.
Instead of addiction, build hope.
Instead of allowing our youth to become victims, empower them to become builders of Liberia.

WE ARE NOT LIBERIA’S LOST GENERATION. WE ARE LIBERIA’S NEXT GENERATION!
And we will not surrender our future.

WE SUPPORT THE FIGHT—BUT WE DEMAND JUSTICE
As First-Time Voters of the proposed People’s Action Party (PAP), we support every lawful, constitutional, transparent, and impartial effort by the Government of Liberia to confront drug trafficking.

But our support must come with a demand:
Investigate without fear.
Prosecute without favoritism.
Judge without political interference.
Punish according to law.
Let the evidence speak.
Let the courts decide.
Let nobody be protected because of power.

Today, Liberia must ask itself: Is it right to protect a powerful person accused of destroying our young people?
Our answer is NO!

We dream of a Liberia where a child does not have to encounter drugs before encountering opportunity.
We dream of a Liberia where young people are celebrated for their intelligence, skills, creativity, entrepreneurship, and service—not recruited by criminal networks.
We dream of a Liberia where justice is not for sale and where nobody is above the law.
And we believe that dream is possible.

Justice does not come simply because we wish for it.
We must demand it.
We must defend it.
We must stand for it.
OUR MESSAGE TO THE DRUG TRAFFICKERS
To those who are attempting to turn Liberia into a safe haven for drug trafficking;
You have chosen the wrong country.
Liberia belongs to its people.
Liberia belongs to its children.
Liberia belongs to its young people.
And we will not sit quietly while anyone gambles with our future.

LIBERIA IS NOT FOR SALE!
OUR YOUTH ARE NOT FOR SALE!
OUR FUTURE IS NOT FOR SALE!
And to every young Liberian listening:
Do not allow drugs to define you.
Do not allow criminals to purchase your loyalty with temporary money.
Do not exchange your future for a moment of profit.
Your life is bigger than drugs.
Your future is bigger than criminality.
You are bigger than the circumstances surrounding you.

Our revolution must be a revolution of conscience, justice, education, opportunity, discipline, and national responsibility.

Not a revolution of violence.
Not a revolution of destruction.
But a revolution that says:
We will educate our youth.
We will empower our youth.
We will protect our youth.
We will fight the drug trade.
We will defend the rule of law.
And we will never allow political power to become a shield for criminality.

So let Liberia answer darkness with justice.
Let us answer criminality with law.
Let us answer hopelessness with opportunity.
And let us answer the drug crisis with a generation that refuses to surrender.
WE ARE FIRST-TIME VOTERS.
WE ARE YOUNG.
WE ARE WATCHING.
WE ARE SPEAKING.
AND WE WILL NOT BE SILENT!
Liberia must never become a safe haven for drug traffickers.
Nobody should be above the law.
Nobody should be exonerated because of position or power.
The young people of Liberia are the oasis and powerhouse of this nation.
OUR FUTURE MUST NEVER BE PLAYED WITH!

One Liberia.
One People.
One Future.
One Uncompromising Stand Against Drug Trafficking.

GOD BLESS LIBERIA.🇱🇷

The first-time voters of PAP have never taken a side—and we never will.
We are not stepping stones. We are not pawns deployed merely for Amanda-Awadu. We are the oasis. We are the mitochondrion. We are the sovereign conduit through which decisions and policies must flow.

Good night.💪
