Barça have signed Moroccan footballer Mahdi El Maimouni from Belgian club Sporting Charleroi.

Born in 2009, the midfielder is regarded as one of Belgium's brightest young talents and was named Best Young Talent at the Lion d'Or 2024 awards.

Barça will receive a total of €2,893,533 from FIFA as compensation for the participation of its international players in the World Cup.
