Bomi County is set to enter the final phase of its County Justification exercise ahead of the highly anticipated 2026 National County Sports Meet, as Head Coach Zico Dorley has called on all selected players from across the county’s districts to report for the final assessment.

📅 Date: September 15, 2026
⏰ Time: 2:00 PM
📍 Venue: Matambo Sports Pitch, Grand Cape Mount County

The final justification will provide the technical team another important opportunity to assess the players’ fitness, technical ability, discipline, teamwork, mentality, and overall readiness for the biggest county football competition in Liberia.

⚽ 𝘼 𝙎𝙀𝘾𝙊𝙉𝘿 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙉𝘾𝙀 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙔 𝙏𝘼𝙇𝙀𝙉𝙏!

In an encouraging move, Coach Zico Dorley has also opened the door for players who, for various reasons, did not get the opportunity to participate in the previous District Justification exercises.
Those players are being given a final opportunity to present themselves, compete for a place, and prove that they deserve to wear the Bomi County colors.

This means the door is not yet closed. Talent still has a chance. Hard work still matters. And every player who believes in his ability has one more opportunity to make an impression.
The technical team is expected to carefully evaluate the players as the county moves closer to completing its final squad for the 2026 National County Sports Meet.

Bomi players, this is your moment!
Come prepared. Come focused. Come ready to compete.

One County. One Team. One Mission — Bomi County! 💚⚽🏆

Bomi County has more sporting grounds than just the C. H. Dewey Sports Pitch in Tubmanburg. It is time for county sports authorities, stakeholders, and community leaders to recognize the importance of these other facilities and give them the attention they deserve.

Across Bomi County, we have sporting pitches located in different communities, including:
1️⃣ Gbah Jarkeh Sports Pitch
2️⃣ Klay Sports Pitch
3️⃣ Married Camp Sports Pitch
4️⃣ Mano Central High School Sports Pitch
5️⃣ Sassa Town Sports Pitch
6️⃣ Swen Macca Sports Pitch
7️⃣ Dewin Sports Pitch
8️⃣ C. H. Dewey Sports Pitch

These facilities are not merely open spaces. They are potential centers for discovering young footballers, developing local talent, promoting community participation, and creating opportunities for our youths.

When sporting activities are consistently concentrated in Tubmanburg, many talented young people in other parts of the county may never get the opportunity to showcase what they can do.
Therefore, this is a call to the Bomi County sports leadership and stakeholders: Let us recognize these sporting facilities, assess their conditions, improve them where necessary, and include them in the county's sporting calendar.
A District League should not only be about where the county headquarters is located. It should be about reaching the districts and communities where the talents are.

If a match can be played in Tubmanburg, why can't another match be played in Gbah Jarkeh, Klay, Sassa Town, Swen Macca, Dewin, or other communities with suitable facilities?

Decentralizing sports does not weaken Bomi County—it strengthens it.
Let every community have a stake in the county's sporting development. Let our young people see football not only as entertainment, but as a pathway to opportunity, discipline, exposure, and professional development.

Bomi has the pitches.
Bomi has the talents.
Bomi has the youths.

Now, we need the recognition, investment, planning, and commitment to make these sporting facilities work for the people.

⚽ Recognize the Pitches.
🏆 Develop the Talents.
🤝 Empower the Communities.
🔥 Decentralize Bomi Sports.

One County. All Districts. Equal Opportunities. One Sporting Future.
