You will end up being the bone.

AFRICAN PROVERB: You don’t go searching for bones in a lion’s den

Meaning: The simple meaning of this proverb is that you need to take a calculated risk. There is a simple formula to calculate risk or reward . You calculate risk vs. reward by dividing your net profit (the reward) by the price of your maximum risk. By this formula, the more the risk and the lower the reward, the more foolish it is to undertake that endeavor. If the reward outweighs the maximum risk there is justifiable reason to take that course. Some risks are not worth risking. You don’t risk your life in order to satisfy your curiosity. Life by it’s risky and there is only one risk you should avoid at all cost. It is the risk of foolishness! Life doesn’t always give us second chances. That's why we must optimize any chance we get. It could be our last chance. In the pursuit of our dreams, we must make conscious effort not to allow petty things to distract or derail us from the path of success. The lion leaves the bones around for a purpose. To serve as warning to anyone or animal of what could potentially be their fate. Be focused! !
