Liberia Football Association (LFA) President, Mustapha Raji, on Thursday, 13 March, paid a courtesy visit to the Liberia Embassy in Cairo, Egypt.

President Raji was warmly received by the Chargé d'Affaires of the embassy, Marian F. Kupee, who congratulated him on his re-election as an Executive Committee Member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

She commended President Raji and his team at the LFA for their continuous efforts in developing football in Liberia and contributing to the sport's development across the African continent.

President Raji expressed his gratitude for the embassy's support and reaffirmed his dedication to developing Liberia football at all levels.

President Raji was accompanied by FIFA Talent Coach Ammy Ninje and members of Liberia’s U17 national team delegation, who are currently in Cairo for international friendly matches.

Champ United striker, Comfort Wleh scored an early-minute goal in the first half, and despite the Bassa Girls' determined efforts to find the net, they were unable to equalize.

Champ United secured a 1-0 victory over Bassa Girls in the ongoing LFA Lower Women's League at the SKD Practice Sports Pitch on Saturday March 8, 2025.

Wleh's goal set the tone for the match, and Bassa Girls fought valiantly throughout the game, but their chances were repeatedly thwarted by a resolute Champ United defense.

The victory keeps Champ United in strong contention as the league progresses.

Fans are eagerly anticipating their next performance as the competition heats up in the Lower Women's League.

Yahweh FC Dominates TAP TAP FC in a 4-0 Victory

In another match at the same venue, Yahweh FC delivered a dominant performance against TAP TAP FC, securing a decisive 4-0 win.

The first half ended in a stalemate at 0-0 as both teams battled for control.

However, in the second half, Yahweh FC shifted gears, tightening their grip on the midfield.

Taking advantage of TAP TAP FC's defensive lapses, Yahweh FC strikers Yassah Zadoe and Hawa Nyumah each scored a brace, ensuring their team walked away with all three points.

With these result, Yahweh FC showcased their determination and skill, making their mark in the league.
