There is an increasing recognition of the significant role technical and vocational education and training ( TVET ) can play to provide relevant job skills to students if given the necessary market information, access and financing. An estimated 75-80% of Liberia's population is under the age of 35, which drives significant demands for employment and self-employment opportunities. Investment and capacity building in TVET institutions could play a massive role in impacting our country's most valuable resource, our human capital and more specifically our young generation.
