Last summer Mathieu had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Ganaa ( ), a master leather craftsman in Mongolia. Not only does he create stylish merchandise for the famous Mongolian band, The Hu, but he also supports local herders through his craft. Each of his products come with a QR code that provides transparency on the origin of the leather and even pictures of the herdsmen. Even the Swiss embassy certified the genuine quality of the leather.
Check out this holster inspired bag, it's just one of many amazing products he crafts.
Leave his merchandise shop a follow to get the coolest merch around 😎
Keep an eye out for the little giveaway next week, as Mr. Gaana was nice to leave us some fridge magnets and key tags. Also: there might be NGFL affiliated links available in the future 😉

We are thrilled to announce that our "Bökh Jodag" (Mongolian wrestling jackets) made it to Luxembourg! A big thank you to our partners for bringing these beautiful pieces straight from the grasslands of Inner/Southern Mongolia to us in Luxembourg.
Wondering what Bökh is all about?
Bökh, is a wrestling tradition that has been practiced in Mongolia for centuries. It is a form of unarmed combat that combines strength, skill, and strategy.
One of the main benefits of Bökh is that it is a full-body workout. The sport requires wrestlers to use their legs, core, and upper body, making it a great way to build strength and muscle mass. It also improves flexibility, balance, and coordination.
Another benefit of Bökh is that it is a great way to improve mental discipline and focus. The sport requires wrestlers to be fully present in the moment and to stay focused on their opponent. This can translate to other areas of life, such as work and study.
Bökh is also steeped in tradition and culture, it is not only a sport, but also a way to maintain a connection to the heritage of Mongolian people. It is an important part of their cultural identity and is often passed down from generation to generation.
Additionally, Bökh is also a social sport. It is often practiced in a group setting, and wrestlers will often train together and support each other. This can foster a sense of community and camaraderie among participants.
Overall, traditional Mongolian wrestling offers many physical and mental benefits, as well as cultural values and social connections. It's a traditional way to be healthy, strong and connected to their own roots.
