Racing Experience Shines in Recent Prototype Winter Series Races

Luxembourg - Racing Experience proudly announces strong results from the latest double header of the Prototype Winter Series at Motorland Aragon on March 1st and 2nd, and at Barcelona on March 8th and 9th.

At the Motorland Aragon race weekend, our drivers Mathias Bjerre Jakobsen and Wolfgang Payr jointly achieved a podium finish, securing third place in a highly competitive Race 1. This podium finish was a testament to their teamwork and the excellent preparation by our crew.

Continuing the momentum, the series moved to Barcelona where Mathias claimed the Pole position in Q2, beating the runner-up by a substantial seven-tenths of a second. He consistently recorded the fastest laps under both dry and wet conditions, demonstrating the adaptability and performance of our racing setup.

Wolfgang Payr excelled by setting the fastest lap times compared to other Bronze drivers, further highlighting the strength and depth of our team.

"Achieving a podium in Aragon and a pole position and fastest laps in Barcelona against experienced Gold Drivers and well-known teams reflect our strong competitive spirit and strategic approach to racing."

As the Talent of the Year in Denmark and a Championship win in F4, Mathias has already showcased his ability to thrive under pressure, and we are excited to welcome him to the team.

Securing this win means Mathias will take the wheel for our team Racing Experience in the Prototype Winter Series 2025, where we are confident he will continue to excel and make a strong mark in endurance racing.

Never stop pushing, we are going to be on track next week and you can join us as driver🔥

We are going to test at Hockenheimring next monday 22th July and we have some spots for that day. DM us and get ready to jump on a pure race car like the Duqueine D08 LMP3🏎️

This time our program is going to be open only to driver with racing licence🤝

Unfortunately we ran over debris during the race, which forced us to stop on track to avoid further damage on the #1 car. Quali pace was promising, but today was not the best for us😢

Still tomorrow to show our pontential on track, keep pushing🥊

Nice job from all the team members in a mice conditions FP sessions ☂️

Stellar job from both drivers Toto Granzella Rapetti and Laurent Prunet with great improvements lap by lap and showing a consistent pace in wet conditions. Can’t wait to hit the track again tomorrow🔥

With loads of experience with formula and prototype racing during the recent years, he will team up with Tomas Granzella next week for the third round of Prototype Cup Germany round in the dunes of Zandvoort🎢

We also want to send our best wishes to Wolfgang Payr, he will unfortunately miss the race due to an injury suffered during a bike crash.
