🇱🇺Milestone for Curling Luxembourg

From April 26 to May 1, our Women's National Team competed in the European C-Division Championship in Östersund, Sweden — the first time in over 25 years that Luxembourg has sent a women’s team!

The team, consisting of Virginie Hansen (skip), Shiori Kuboki, Betty Spurgeon, Maja Bjerg-Petersen and Carole Remesch, coached by Rick Collins, faced a series of tough matchups across six games. While results didn't go their way this time, the team showed strong progress, dedication, and a clear path forward for future competitions.

Now it’s time to rest, recharge, and get back to training. Next season, we come back even stronger.

We’re especially proud to share that Shiori was awarded MVP of the tournament, recognized for the best "L*D" and outstanding sportsmanship — a proud moment for the team and Curling Luxembourg.
