Science Days in Quseir
Das Riff in der El Quadim Bay im ägyptischen Quseir ist eines der schönsten und artenreichsten Hausriffe im Roten Meer. Doch auch aus archäologischer Sicht ist die Bucht etwas ganz besonderes. Hier lag eine der bedeutendste Häfen- und Handelsstädte der berühmten Pharaonin Hatschepsut.
Vom 19. bis 24. November 2019 finden hier die ersten Extra Divers Science Days statt. Jeder Gast kann im Rahmen seines normalen Aufenthaltes mit dem VDST Meeresbiologen Ralph O. Schill und dem Archäologischen Forschungstaucher Gerd Knepel in die Welt der Meeresbiologie und Archäologie eintauchen.

IT WAS THE MEETING POINT FOR EVERYONE INTERESTED IN WATERSORTS, SUSTAINABILITY IN TOURISM, AND PROTECTING THE UNDERWATER WORLD AND FLORA - FAUNA OF THE LIBYAN SEA.

The first Libyan Sport Mission with the flag of freedom was presented by the LDA Team at the Swimming Wolrdchampionate in hungary 27.7.2011 this should be as well recognized. Thabnk you Mr. Hehsam Buweden and the LDA National Team

We are so sad, to anounce, that our Center was looted last week by thieves because of lack of security. We hope to be able to rebuild as soon as possible and give best service to our Libyan and Foreign LDA athletes and students.

The facility is a partner of LDA Academy Benghazi with LDA Benghazi Repr. Mr. Hisham Buwedden. The Libyan National Team from LDA joined under the new flag the Worldchampionships in Hungary and represented the NTC proudly as the FIRST Libyan National Team under the new government. That should be honored and respected, not looted and destroyed.
