Join us on May 7 at ArtCOR, for the Third Edition of AmCham METRIX​ (Moldovan Economic Transformation and Reform IndeX), a structured tool designed to assess how government policies impact the business climate and explore its role in shaping policy impact and regulatory improvements.

The discussion will cover findings from a nationwide Business Perception Assessment, which evaluates how companies experience current policies and their implementation. Experts will also analyze how tax, trade, and labor policy changes influence Moldova's competitiveness, comparing it with Eastern European peers - candidates for EU accession. Additionally, the session will explore future policy forecasting, examining Moldova's EU accession commitments and anticipated regulatory developments.

This event will offer a unique opportunity to gain exclusive insights on Moldova's evolving business landscape, contribute to shaping data-driven regulatory improvements, and connect with key stakeholders, policymakers, and industry leaders.

În cadrul instruirii vor fi abordate, în mod detaliat, principalele aspecte esențiale pentru buna gestionare a unei afaceri. Participanții vor avea oportunitatea să se familiarizeze cu obligațiile fiscale aferente activității antreprenoriale, precum și cu modul corect de organizare și ținere a evidenței contabile.
De asemenea, vor fi prezentate procedurile privind întocmirea și gestionarea documentelor contabile, alături de informații relevante referitoare la operațiunile de export și import. Totodată, instruirea va include și alte instrumente practice necesare pentru administrarea eficientă și conformă a unei afaceri.

Ukraine's reconstruction will be one of the largest rebuilding efforts in Europe in decades. Given its geographic proximity, existing economic ties and growing integration with the European Union, Moldova has the potential to play a meaningful role in supporting this process. Beyond political solidarity, this role can translate into practical economic cooperation — from logistics corridors and supply chains to partnerships between Moldovan, Ukrainian and regional companies.

The report prepared by the Kyiv School of Economics explores these opportunities and looks at how Moldova's infrastructure, industries and business ecosystem could contribute to reconstruction efforts. The event is intended to present the main findings of the report and open a practical discussion between public authorities, businesses and development partners on how these opportunities can turn into concrete projects and partnerships.
