The Majuro Arm Wrestling Association (MAWA) is hosting a garage sale fundraiser, and we need your help! We are looking for any gently used house gears or stuff that you no longer need and want to get rid of. Your donations will help us raise funds to support our organization and its activities.

If you have any items you'd like to donate, please contact us and we'll arrange for pickup. Your support is greatly appreciated, and we couldn't do this without you.

Majuro's First Arm-Wrestling Competition 2023 Majuro's First Arm-Wrestling Competition 2023 Majuro Marshall IslandsMay 06, 2023

We are thrilled to report that the event was a huge success, with over a hundred people cheering and having fun. Despite the initial bad weather, the event went smoothly and everyone had a great time. The excitement in the air was palpable, with the crowd really enthusiastic and everyone having fun. The suspense and power released during the arm wrestling competition was truly impressive. Our MC Yastamon did an outstanding job keeping the crowd engaged and making the event go smoothly.

Men's Heavyweight Division: 1st Floyd and 2nd Kai emerged as the winners.
Men's Lightweight Division: 1st Marcus and 2nd Kunio were the champions.
Women's Division: 1st Kamwea and second Yung took home the top honors.
Girls' Division: 1st Charlotte and 2nd Clarissa were the winners.
Boys' Heavyweight Division: 1st Benjamin and 2nd Kiyoshi took home the prizes.
Boys' Lightweight Division: 1st Kabua and 2nd Lajji (our mistake, we'll make sure it won't happen again in the future) were the winners.
And our youngest participant this year, Florence 7years old.

We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to all the winners who emerged victorious in their respective divisions. They are the first-ever arm-wrestling champions in the Marshall Islands, and we are proud to have witnessed such an exciting competition. We applaud their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship, and we wish them continued success in their future endeavors.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our sponsors, including IOM for providing the prizes, Power 103.5fm and six9tooproduction for the equipment at Delap Park, Doit Best for the materials, and EZ Price, KNK, and Payless for providing refreshments. We would also like to thank the Wellness Center and PII for their support throughout the organization of this event.

Finally, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated team of volunteers who worked tirelessly to make this event a reality. Without their support and dedication, the Arm-wrestling competition on May 6th would not have been possible.

The M.A.W.A wish every Marshallese a good night! Get plenty of rest, because tomorrow is THE day we've all been waiting for!!! The First Ever Arm Wrestling Competition in the Marshall Islands!!! Registration will start at 9:30 and finish at 11:30!! Please be there before it ends to be put in one of our categories!!! Yasta Man will be our MC for the day!! Attention all schools, vendors, and shoppers from Majuro! We are excited to announce that Delap Park will be hosting a free marketplace on the Majuro’s first arm-wrestling event this Saturday. You will have the opportunity to set up your own booth and sell any products you wish to promote. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your products, meet new customers, and potentially make some sales.

The event will take place on Saturday, and the booths will be available for any schools to set up from 9am until 12pm. The event will run until 4pm, giving you plenty of time to reach out to potential customers and make sales.

We welcome all schools & all types of vendors, whether you're selling handmade goods, food and drink items, or other types of products. We encourage you to bring plenty of merchandise to sell, as there will be plenty of shoppers in attendance.

This is completely free, so don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to sell. We look forward to seeing you at Delap Park on Saturday! Make sure to support M.A.W.A (Majuro Arm Wrestling Association) during the event! We also welcome any volunteer donations.

Yesterday's pre-competition for the arm-wrestling event at Delap Park was a great success. With the support of Daniel Kramer, we had attracted a large number of people to come and participate in a friendly arm-wrestling competition. Even the Navy personnel from Taiwan tried their hand at arm-wrestling.

We are confident that the main event on May 6th will have a more significant number of registrations based on the turnout and enthusiasm of the participants that we have attracted in just one night through our public display.
