Woopsie! I forgot to post this… but I have the most beautiful recommendation to an Airbnb in Bitola that is literally right next to the clock tower and is amazing walking distance to all the food and cafes. 😍

If you want to actually be right next to shirok Sokak, send me a DM and I’ll send you a link to this amazing space! The host Goran is absolutely amazing, and was so awesome in recommending places to eat and enjoy. If you are a history nerd like me, ask him about the Lala house and you will be pleasantly surprised by the rich history of this house.

Anyhow… back to planning my next trip…

Ohrid & Sveti Naum 🇲🇰✨

One of those places that feels almost too beautiful to be real.
Fun fact: Lake Ohrid is one of Europe’s oldest lakes, estimated to be 2–3 million years old, and it’s home to 200+ species found nowhere else on Earth. 🌊

Then you make your way to Sveti Naum… ancient monastery, crystal-clear springs, peacocks wandering around like they own the place, and THAT view. 🦚

A little walk through Bitola’s “Shirok Sokak!” 😍 If I wanted to translate this.. it would basically mean “wide street?” 😅😂 But, if I had to describe it, it is the beautiful main shopping and eatery street of Bitola!

Did you know that Bitola was known as the “City of Consuls” because of its diplomatic role during the Ottoman Empire? 🫶🏼

If you get a chance to stop here, take in the architecture, stop for food or coffee, and appreciate the little details that make this place the best city to get lost in.

Bitola, you’re beautiful and my most favorite city! 💕
