Birkirkara FC Women’s Team is delighted to welcome Jeremy Busuttil, Gianluca Borg, and Nicholas Pisani to the Club’s youth coaching structure for our U16 and U19 teams.

We would like to congratulate the newly appointed Birkirkara FC Youth Academy Committee for the 2026/27 season.

The continued growth and success of any football club begins with a strong foundation, and the Academy remains a vital part of Birkirkara FC’s future. We are confident that the newly appointed committee will continue to build on the excellent work being carried out, helping to develop young players both on and off the pitch.

As a Women’s Team, we are particularly delighted to see Aaron Chetcuti appointed as Girls Football Liaison Officer. Aaron’s passion for the women’s game, commitment to youth development, and belief in creating opportunities for young female footballers make him the ideal person to help strengthen the pathway between the Academy and the Women’s Team. His role will be instrumental in ensuring that aspiring girls have the support, guidance, and opportunities needed to progress and fulfil their potential within the Club.

We look forward to working closely with Aaron and the entire committee as we continue building a stronger future for girls’ and women’s football at Birkirkara FC.

The Senior Team Committee yesterday officially approved the newly formed Birkirkara FC Youth Academy Committee for the 2026/27 season.

We are delighted to welcome a strong and committed team of individuals who share a common vision of continuing to develop and strengthen our academy. Their appointment reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to youth development and sends a clear message about the importance of the academy in shaping the future of Birkirkara FC.

As we look ahead, we would also like to express our sincere gratitude to those who served the academy during the past season, particularly Edmond Cushieri and long-standing committee member Jonathan Barbara. Thank you for your dedication, commitment, and valuable contribution to the growth of our academy over the years.

It is with great sadness that Birkirkara FC Women’s Team learned of the passing of Charles Sciberras, affectionately known as “il-Fly.”

A true servant of Birkirkara FC, Charles dedicated decades of his life to the Club, helping shape its identity and future through his passion, commitment, and selfless service. As a founder of the Youth Academy and its Honorary President, he played a pivotal role in developing generations of young players and fostering the values that continue to define our Club today.

Charles’ contribution extended far beyond football. His dedication, guidance, and unwavering loyalty left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched and the strong foundations he helped build for future generations.

On behalf of the players, coaching staff, committee members, and supporters of Birkirkara FC Women’s Team, we extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

Thank you, Charles, for your years of dedication and service. Your legacy will forever remain an important part of the Birkirkara FC story.
