➡️ Skont l-aħħar statistika tal-Eurostat, id-differenza fil-pagi bejn il-ġeneri fl-UE (2024) kienet ta’ 11.1% (Malta: 4.9%)

➡️ F’Malta, din id-differenza fil-pagi hija ogħla f’ċerti setturi, fosthom:

👉l-informazzjoni u l-komunikazzjoni (18.7%)
👉l-attivitajiet tas-suq tal-proprjetà (17.4%)
👉l-attivitajiet finanzjarji u tal-assigurazzjoni (15.4%)
👉l-edukazzjoni (15.4%)
👉il-manifattura (13.9%)

➡️ According to latest statistics by Eurostat, the gender pay gap in the EU (2024) was 11.1% (Malta: 4.9%)

➡️ In Malta, the gender pay gap is higher in certain sectors, including:

👉 information and communication (18.7%)
👉 real estate activities (17.4%)
👉 financial and insurance activities (15.4%)
👉 education (15.4%)
👉 manufacturing (13.9%)

➡️ The NCPE can investigate complaints of gender discrimination in employment, including in the terms and conditions such as pay.
