Great start of the season for the under 10 and 12 kids that participated in the tournament of the first November!
We saw a lot of new teams playing and the winning teams of both tournaments are first time winners!
Can't wait to see them trying to defend their title in the next tournament!

Under 10 kids can either make their team or I will randomly make teams.

Birzebbuga tournament champions

Congratulations to all kids that competed in the last 3 vs 3 basketball tournament.

The Ball Hogz team caught the win in a tense final against the Ballerz team which were the reigning champions.

Thanks to Sabrina Abugrin for the help on court and Hibernians Basketball Club & Nursery for the availability of the court.

From the next tournament the age of the players will go up by one year due to the start of the new basketball season,

Huge congratulations to Ben Vella for entering the National Sport School of Malta,
He's been training hard for almost a year to achieve his goal,
He is going to join Alexa which entered last year.

In the last 2 years I had the luck to follow 3 players in their journey to enter the NSS and coach a fourth one.

Hard work pays off.
