Yachting Experience.
Join us for a day sailing experience on a performance sailing yacht. The experience includes instruction by a professional skipper/yachting instructor, and for those who would like to continue learning could lead to several Levels of certification. We start at 09.30 hrs from Ta'Xbiex Marina, and be back at the marina by 16.30 hrs. We will do several exercises like hoisting sails, sailing upwind,downwind and beam reach, Using the winches , Learn some knots etc. This is an ideal opportunity for those who want to get started in this sport/passion. This Rib together with this engine were stolen from Portomaso Marina on Sunday night round midnight. The person who stole the rib was seen walking to Portomaso Marina from the side of the service gate by the parking and walked outside the fence of merkanti beach club, and came into the marina from the opening on the break water. He was round 5 foot 10 tall and was wearing Black Bermuda and tee shirt. Slim and walking briskly. Video footing showed that he motored out of Portomaso Marina at 00.17 Hrs Monday morning. (additional CCTV video is being acquired and viewed by the Police).
If someone has information about seeing someone taking a rib out of the water or towing early Monday around 00.30 to 01.30 hrs is to contact me on 79552222. Sailing Course for Kids and Youths Starting on Tuesday 23rd August. Lessons are held every Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.30 till 12.30 for 5 consecutive weeks.
