Hey hey, food friends! 👋 We’re CAB & Shalini, the not so matching duo behind NOSH UP ☺️😍

CAB started off as the "cook with the doek" at The Junction, one of the first cozy coffee spots in Black River, and then became the baker and proud owner of CAB’s Corner for the past six years. Now teaming up with Shalini to bring you NOSH UP.

We’re basically opposites in every way (one of us measures ingredients, the other just “feels it in her soul” 🤭). Think of us as the yin and yang of the kitchen: CAB’s the calm, sensible one who believes in recipes and timers ⏱️, while Shalini’s the whirlwind who adds “just a bit more” of everything and calls it magic ✨ (somehow, it usually works).

Together, we’ve cooked up NOSH UP, a fun little To-Go food spot where you can grab everything from cupcakes to dinners without the stress of cooking. Fresh, homemade, and always full of flavor (and personality).

We’re all about mixing fun, a bit of cheeky charm, and a lot of homemade goodness into everything we make. We laugh a lot, bicker over frosting thickness, and agree on one thing...good food should be easy to grab and hard to forget. 💝

So come NOSH with us, it’s going to be a whole lot of yum! 🍴😋

« Avec des amis, Nous avons assisté, hier soir samedi au premier événement « cochon grillé » de la saison. Le cochon était parfaitement cuit, son accompagnement de légumes était croquant à souhait, le tout servie copieusement et chaud, grâce à l’efficacité des serveurs. Le groupe musical a su mettre l’ambiance et le DG a pris le relai. Cette soirée festive a été parfaitement orchestrée par Laurie. Encore bravo et merci à tous et toutes.
