3rd Place! Taekwondojang officially earned the Overall Champion Award (3rd place) on the winners medal table at the Changmookwan Online International Taekwondo Championships 2026.

Since our creation, we have fully embraced the digital age of Taekwondo and every year we give our students international exposure online through our association with Changmookwan International. Our main goal - beyond medals - is to see our students skills and growth assessed by world-class, international World Taekwondo referees and compare against our coaching standards.

We enjoy the rewards that come along - 13 Gold, 22 Silver, and 26 Bronze medals this year! We are happy and proud to make Mauritius Taekwondo shine globally.

We thank the GM Mario Hung Wai Wing for promoting Mauritius Taekwondo into the digital space. Special thanks to Changmookwan Singapore for all the hard work and for their collaboration all these years. We thank all parents for their support and congratulations to all medalists in Mauritius!

Taekwondojang was honoured to be featured on the MBC Sports Select programme on Monday, 21 September 2026, with Shaivi Jeepah and Coach Sarwan!

We discussed Shaivi's achievements on her Bronze medal and experience competing in Egypt, FASU-Africa University Sports Games, while touching on the values of Taekwondo in Mauritius.

We want to express our utmost gratitude to Jessie Oogarah for this wonderful opportunity and her unwavering dedication to supporting local sports and talents representing our country worldwide.

None of this would have been possible without the invaluable guidance of our mentor, Grand Master Mario Hung Wai Wing, and the continued support of the Mauritius Taekwondo Federation.

We invite the general public to join the MTF via a Taekwondo club near them, or reach out for a trial with Taekwondojang in Nouvelle France (Co Fitness Hub, Savanne Road)!
