National Sports Council

NSC members held a meeting to present the Hon. Minister ofMinistry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof with the updates on the works of NSC.
NSC president Ibrahim Nahid shared the opinions of the Council. Minister thanked the NSC members and proposed to hold a meeting after the Eid Holidays

At the meeting today Minister of Youth,Sports and Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof expressed his support to the works of NSC.
NSC President Ibrahim Nahid emphasised the importance of working together to obtain the results both fraternities are working together to achieve.

Today’s meeting with Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc.
Discussions were carried out to work together in implementing the new sports structure.
MTCC gave information on the current dhathuru fathuruge nizam & Integrated National Public Ferry Network (INPFN).
NSC presented the proposed new sports structure with the regional sports pivoting on the local transport network.
Both understood the synergy of transport and decentralised sport structure.

As our first official meeting of the year 2021, NSC shared with Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof, the works which are planned for the year ahead. Notably the implementation plan of the new Sports Structure.

NSC President Ibrahim Nahid emphasised on the alignment of the works and the importance of aligning those to the government’s Strategic Action Plan (SAP).

Minister Mahloof expressed his opinions and shared his ideas which were welcomed by NSC members.
