28/05/2026
We are proud to officially announce the launch of our Indian Ocean Island Games 2027 Development Project — our most ambitious club initiative to date.
Our goal is clear: qualify *6 male and 4 female athletes* from Revival Sports into the national squad, and support Team Maldives in securing a record number of medals in badminton at IOIG 2027.
The project encompasses high-performance training camps overseas, BWF-sanctioned international tournament exposure, personalised strength & conditioning with specialist coaches, and dedicated singles and doubles category training programmes — all designed to elevate our athletes to their highest potential.
This development project represents the largest single investment Revival Sports has made in its athletes to date — a multi-year, fully funded programme structured to give our athletes every resource they need to compete and succeed on the regional stage.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our banking partner, Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB), and to the Ministry of Sports, Fitness, and Recreation for their financial assistance through athlete scholarships. We also thank the Badminton Association Of Maldives for their support in making this project possible.
We also extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who books and uses our court at Revival Stadium — your continued support directly contributes to initiatives like this, and we are grateful for every one of you.
The journey to IOIG 2027 starts now. 🇲🇻
