MWEZI ARTS is an Art production and Events company created with the objective to set a competent production house to produce, develop, promote and advocate for the existence and industrialisation of the arts in Malawi and Southern Africa. It exists as a brain child of internationally acclaimed Malawian director and actor Stanley Malizani Mambo (Executive and Creative Director) and its k

ey pivot since inception is Hazel Musochera Mambo (Administration and Marketing Manager) and a team of artists, crew and administrators dedicated to the companies productions and activities. Mwezi Arts runs the Madsoc Theatre which exists as their office, creative and events base - A profesional theatre which they dedicate their investments and work in providing an international standard plartform to artists from Malawi and Abroad as a development initiative. In its objective, Mwezi has since...
- produced and colaborated in a number of theatre and television productions,
- managed musicians, recordings, concerts, rehearsals and community projects.
- Initiated and facilitated training workshops in theatre and visual arts for
upcoming grassroots talent and proffessionals.
- provided services and collaborated with other film & theatre company's from
Malawi, Reunion/ France, South Africa, German, USA, DRC & Zimbabwe.
- Lighting and sound for events and occasions including – Malawi Music Awards , Presidential Debates, City of Stars Festival, Standard Bank - Joy of Jazz Festival, Norwegian Embassy Constitution 200 years anniversary , Mike Appel and Gato Chevrolet Launch, British Council Office Launch, Un Women Womans Day, 2 face Concert, Lawi and faith Mussa Concert, Madsoc Theatre.
- Regional consultations and commissioned projects for UNESCO, PSI - Afro Eye, HIFA,
Lake Of Stars Festival, Umunthu Events, TIJAC, Environment Africa, Show Co Arts, The Center, ZBH, Teat la Kour. Mwezi's level of productions and competency effectively attracts an international network and a unique level of appreciation from its clients and audience. The company grows from strength to strength in the cutthroat world of the Arts through expanding to Stage, Sound and Lighting hire services and establishing meriting partnerships with corporate companies, independent institutions, non- governmental organizations, as well as, community based organizations.
