FSOUTHERN REGION THUMBS UP PREMIER DIVISION LEAGUE : TOP 8 PHASE CONFIRMED

The Southern Region Football Association has officially announced the teams that have secured their spots in the prestigious Top 8 phase of the Thumbs Up Premier Division league. The eight successful teams are:

1. Ntaja United
2. Red Lions
3. Ndirande Stars
4. Mwanza Stars
5. Bullets Reserve
6. Ekhaya FC
7. Nyambadwe United
8. Wanderers Reserve

LEAGUE FORMAT AND CHAMPIONSHIP CRITERIA

In the Top 8 phase, each team will engage in a home-and-away series against the other seven teams. The team accumulating the most points at the end of this round-robin format will be crowned the champion.

TOP 8 PHASE SCHEDULE AND VENUES

The Top 8 phase is slated to kick off on Thursday, November 7, 2024. The Southern Region Football Association has designated four stadiums as venues for the matches:

- Kamuzu Stadium
- Mpira Stadium
- Mulanje Park Stadium
- Balaka Stadium
