Today we were privileged to have a health official visit our school to administer the second dose of the polio vaccine. This reminds us of the importance of making vaccines accessible in schools.
Vaccination in schools helps protect children from preventable diseases, keeps learners healthy, reduces absenteeism, and gives parents peace of mind. It also ensures every child has an equal chance to receive life-saving healthcare services in a safe and convenient environment.
