En el marco del 82.º Aniversario del Club León, el Archivo Histórico Municipal de León presenta la premier de “Los Ascendidos”, un documental dirigido por Francisco Javier "Panda"Padilla que recupera uno de los capítulos más intensos en la historia del fútbol leonés: el descenso del Club León y el camino que llevó a su regreso triunfal a la máxima categoría en 1990.

A través de los testimonios de jugadores, exdirectivos, investigadores, periodistas y aficionados, esta producción reconstruye las experiencias, emociones y circunstancias que rodearon aquel momento que marcó para siempre la historia del equipo y de una afición que nunca dejó de creer.

Porque el fútbol también es memoria.
Porque un equipo representa los sueños y las pasiones de toda una ciudad.
Y porque algunas historias merecen volver a contarse.

England stars will have an actual mountain to climb when they face Mexico in the World Cup last-16 clash on Monday morning! 🆙

The clash takes place at the legendary Azteca Stadium, which sits at a dizzying 2,240 metres above sea level. To put that into perspective, West Brom’s The Hawthorns is the highest ground in England at a measly 168m - meaning the The Three Lions are about to enter a completely different atmosphere! 😱

This brutal altitude is going to hit England like a ton of bricks for three major reasons:

💨 The Air is Dangerously Thin: At over 2,000m, lower air pressure means way less oxygen reaches the bloodstream. Players will suffer from immediate shortness of breath, a hammering heart rate, rapid dehydration, and instant fatigue.

⚡The Ball Flies Freakishly Fast: Thinner air means zero resistance. Thomas Tuchel has warned the ball will fly differently, carrying an extra five yards on passes and shots, making it a nightmare to control

😨 Zero Time to Adapt: Experts say you need 10 days to adjust, but England's tight schedule means they have to fly in last minute. Former West Ham star Nigel Reo-Coker, who played there in 2015, warned: "It's the most physically demanding place I've ever played. For the first 55 minutes, you are literally just trying to keep breathing!"

Mexico have lost just twice in 89 matches at the Azteca, and opponents have previously needed oxygen tanks just to survive the gruelling conditions. If England want to book a place in the quarter-finals, they'll need to use their lungs as well as brains - otherwise, this altitude trap could choke out their World Cup dreams!
