Category 4 hurricane Delta has lead us to cancel all operations until October 13th so our crews can assist Cozumel with recovery after the storm. The last hurricane this strong that hit us was Wilma in 2005. Please keep our crews and our little island in your hearts over the next 48 hours.

Carnival Valor and Victory in Cozumel right now. Their passengers and I are enjoying a wonderful evening dining at Pancho’s Backyard at the Puerta Maya cruise ship pier.

Due to Tropical Storm Nate, we have cancelled all charters and issued full refunds for today and Saturday. Our boats have been secured in their home marinas, so we will be back in business as soon as the seas calm after Nate passes. Thank you everyone for your support! Please keep everyone on the island in your thoughts.

Even though today is "National Wine Day" in the United States, we will always prefer a perfect margarita! Especially with our good friends at Pancho's Backyard! This is their location at the Carnival Cruise Line Puerta Maya Pier.

We are often asked, "How safe is Cozumel". I answer that my wife and teenage daughter go everywhere on the island, day or night. It is an island. I was told, "If you steal someone's TV, everyone will know that you did not have one before and now you have one that looks just like the one that was stolen from Manuel's house and will call your grandmother on you". LOL! Here is a story that was just posted about a lady who lost her wallet at the grocery store on Cozumel: Almost a week ago I lost my wallet at chedraui, after a semi major breakdown, decided that it was time to finish some important tasks that i kept pushing away. So yesterday someone posted they had my wallet, and gave it back just the way i had it when i lost it. If you ever feel like buying something unique and beautiful visit Mireya that sells painted feathers next to wet wendys. She doesn't use facebook or know much about tech but i couldn't be more thankful for her kindness and the lesson that losing a wallet turned into.
