The last fundraiser I did was “Project Triple Eight”. It was hard!

This one will be known as “Project 10 to the Power of 10”.

It will be way shorter but very differently harder based on the fact that I can’t recall pulling such faces during any part of my run and cycle from C2C.

Kudos to the RD at Geopark Adventure Challenge for his responses to my questions this morning.

Usually in my experience organisers are too busy to respond to questions pre race and these more often than not disappear into a ‘black hole’ ☹️

But that’s not the case with this event so I’m pleased to be participating in it and based on this experience happy to support future editions of it too❣️

I rarely share these days on Social Media. But with a Mother, a Sister, 2 Daughters, 3 Granddaughters and many other amazing women in my life who I have met over the years, it still saddens me that progress towards true gender equality is tediously slow.

So, whilst there are lots of positive steps of progression towards addressing this and many unsung heroines who are running this marathon of a race to address this social wrong, I’d like to highlight this inspiring story courtesy of my feed this morning from the BBC.

It’s about a lady called Roberta “Bobbi” Gibb and as well as recording it as a story for my Granddaughters to listen to I’d like to share it here too so you could perhaps do likewise with yours too❣️
