For the 2026 ranking season, all Bladers who wish to participate in any tournament organized in collaboration with the Johor Bey-Battle Association (JBBA) are required to register for an account on the Challonge platform.

This requirement is to track and determine the official Blader rankings throughout the year 2026, based on their participation and performance in JBBA-recognized tournaments.

The ELO ranking system (often written as Elo rating system) is a method used to calculate the relative skill levels of players in competitive games such as chess, video games, and even sports or tournaments — including Beyblade or other ranking-based competitions.

Here’s a simple breakdown 👇

🧠 What It Is:

The Elo system gives each player a numerical rating — for example, 1000, 1500, or 2000.
When two players compete, their ratings are adjusted based on who wins and how strong their opponents are.

⚙️ How It Works:

Each player has a rating (R).
Example: Player A = 1500, Player B = 1400.

Expected score is calculated based on the difference between ratings:

The higher-rated player is expected to win more often.

The lower-rated player gains more points if they win.

After a match:

If the stronger player wins, they gain only a few points.

If the weaker player wins, they gain many points (and the stronger player loses more).

The ratings move toward the player’s actual performance level over time.
