Karnival BAKAT Lawan Pedang Wilayah Persekutuan which was held over the weekend has achieved its target of identifying new talents and potential fencers for our BAKAT development program. This program in collaboration with Majlis Sukan Wilayah Persekutuan (MSWP) will be the first step for FT athletes towards becoming fencers for SUKMA for the future.

The wait is almost over!!

The expanded Sunway Putra Mall Karnival Lawan Pedang 2026 will kick off next weekend on the 23-24 May 2026. The tournament will start with the individual events on Day 1 and followed by Team competition on Day 2.

On a lighter note 😅, FT fencers took off to participate in the Kem Atlet Wilayah Persekutuan Juara 2026 held in Melaka this weekend. This is a wonderful opportunity for our young athletes to be part of the bigger sporting community for Wilayah Persekutuan.

An update for our members and those who are looking forward to see our training centre 😊😊🤺🤺

All the items and equipment left behind from previous tenant have been removed and cleared. The building is undergoing mechanical & electrical inspection followed by necessary repairs. Next, we will have the building treated for pest control.

Once completed, we will begin cleaning and installing our training equipment and facilities!!!

FTAFA would like to congratulate our Vice President, En Farid Yunus on his appointment as Deputy Chairman II on the Board of Majlis Sukan Wilayah Persekutuan (MSWP). As a member of the FTAFA committee, he has played a significant role in the development and promotion of the sport of Fencing. We are proud of his appointment and we know that MSWP has gained a strong professional, dedicated and passionate about sports and sportsmanship!!!

BRAVO Aiman Shah !!! 🥇 🥇

Congratulations to FT Fencer, Ahmad Aiman Shah for his amazing results in France 🇫🇷!! Representing Toulouse University Fencing Club, Aiman together with his teammates won Gold Medal 🥇 for M20 Men’s Epee Team event at the Championnat d’Occitanie. With this win, he will be representing the District of Occitanie at the France National Championships M20 🤺🤺

This is a first for a Malaysian Epeeist and we are proud of his achievement!! Aiman who also won Gold medal at SUKMA 2024 Men’s Epee Team event, started fencing at Jung Club and then before continuing his studies in France.

A wonderful talent - our future in Epee looks bright ahead!! 😊😁
