With a clenched right fist and an open left palm, I would bring them together to then bow and end my martial arts classes.
How fitting to end this year with the same humble bow as we all had our inner martial artist tested.
Through pandemic, economic difficulties and mental hardship, we all still stand.
With a clenched fist we felt our anger and frustration tested and yet we did not strike and we helped patiently.
With a soft palm we stayed available for those who needed help the most.
And no matter how hard the times have become ... We still stand
Moreover , we can also bow ... Not to yield or give up ... But to understand that certain sufferings will always be here ... And so we bow to recognise their existence ... And we clench our fists with the intent to defend ... And we soften our palms with the intention of caring.
And this is how this year has made us all martial artists... fighting something we cannot beat ...we get ready to fight ... We prepare to help ... But above all we always stand...and never give up.
This year has tought me a lot about financial instability, mental health, and knowing how to ask for help. it has tought me more about humility and accepting my flaws. I may have stopped teaching but I'll never stop practicing and some day I will come back to you a better teacher.
I clench my fist for you, I keep and open palm for you and I humbly bow ... For all of you.
May this year of 2021 leave us the proper lessons to prepare us to make the best of 2022.

Here we are in a new month! I know it has been crazy for all of us. Keeping grounded is just about the best we can do right now.
My classes are still up and online for anyone and everyone to join. Starting off the week with Energy Qi Gong every Monday 8am, Malaysian time.

Hi everyone!
As we have just experienced heavy lags and internet speed difficulty towards the end of last week's online class (due to everyone working from home during MCO), the internet gets slow from 8:45 onwards.
I will now propose that as long as this lockdown is in effect we will start all our classes 15min earlier.
So for the time being, all classes will be from 7.45-8.45am

• Taichi flow
• Yoga with Weights
Keep in mind that if you cannot join at these times, you may also request a recording of the class.

Here we are once more in another MCO in Malaysia. It is very sad to still find that we haven't pulled through the pandemic.
Yet while it may be easy to feel anger, or perhaps even rage at our current situation, what would you think if I were to tell you we can transmute our frustration into pure calm energies?
Would you think that it silly?
Or would you take the chance, experiment and experience it yourself?

These are my fees.
As mentioned, you can chose either to join physically at OurBodySpace or to request via zoom to follow us from your home.
Please contact me directly so I can share my bank details and note the package you have selected.
I keep note of the students that attend each class and will send reminders of the number of classes left to you personally.
If there is less that 2 persons that signed up for the class, it will still be on but I will be teaching only via zoom ... Yes , I love teaching so much the class will still be on even if there's only 1 student 🤩

Here is my humble and brand new weekly schedule. Held both online and in OurBodySpace studio at the same time!
Naturally the choice of time at 8am is such because it is not only great to start the day with these practices but it is also convenient for those working the rest of the day...and it's not TOO early 😉
I guarantee you that these subjects and my style of teaching will challenge you just enough to strengthen your body and also give you more energy for the rest of the day.
Movements are done slowly. Focus is strongly on the breath. Awareness is key to know exactly how much your body and mind needs.
There is a day of rest in between each classes to remind you that rest is important.
And each of these varied subjects truly represent me: repetition is important for perfection but to vary your practice can also instill great stimulation and creativity...and fun 😁

A MOMENT IN NATURE
Only in these moments can you truly feel the power of nature.
The cleansing freshness of running water.
The soothing sounds of the leaves.
There is no reproducing such an experience.
We have been isolated for so long, are we able and willing to take the opportunity to reconnect with nature when we can?
Or if we unable to, how do we bring nature to us especially in the concrete jungle?
• Invest in a good water filter
• Open your windows to get natural air
• Ground yourself by being bare footed on a patch of grass
• Stand in the sun for at least 10 minutes everyday
