When my father (Abah) was diagnosed with colon cancer, he was already stage 4. We did everything we can, in every possible manner to treat him but God loves him more. What happened was an eye opening experience. Early detection can saves lives.

National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) works to provide FREE breast cancer screenings to underprivileged women in Malaysia. With as low as RM50 donated monthly, NCSM can fund clinical breast examinations for 5 underprivileged women every month. Let's be part of this noble cause and help save lives.

Early detection saves lives.

I lost my father (Abah) to cancer 3 months ago. He was a retired police officer who didn’t smoke and watch his diet. A typical day for him would include morning walk/jog, tending to his cars, mini garden and he is the Mcgyver of the house. He has no prevailing cancer history in the family and no serious illness at that point of time. Overall, he was the epitome of a fit, healthy man.

It was only when he started to complaints about what we first thought as gastric which lasted about 2 months leading to the diagnosis of the colon cancer. It has already stage 4 by then. The news sent our world crash down. 8 months later, Abah slipped away after a brutal fight – a dramatic reminder of just how quickly you can lose a loved one when you least expect it.

What happened to Abah opened up my eyes and i determined to do my part in spreading awareness on the importance of early detection. Hence, i would like to encourage everyone to contribute in raising fund for National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM) to provide FREE breast cancer screenings to underprivileged women in Malaysia.
