Police have confirmed a fatal incident involving an individual who fell from a tower on Jalan Ampang (HSC Tower) at noon yesterday, May 9, 2026.

The following are the official details and latest information regarding the incident:

Police Confirmation: Wangsa Maju District Police Chief, ACP Annas Sulaiman, confirmed that his side received a report regarding the incident that occurred around 1:00 PM.

Case Classification: For now, the case is classified as Sudden Death Report (SDR) while further investigations are conducted.

Victim Details: Based on initial information from witnesses on social media, the victim is believed to be a foreign individual (possibly a Chinese national in his 30s) who fell from the 21st floor, infinity pool area of a hotel in the said tower.

Scene Conditions: Witnesses reported the incident occurred while the Zuhr azan was resounding, and there is a dashcam video recording that has gone viral showing the incident location.
