Night weaning is very emotional especially if you’re a toddler breastfeeding mama who has been nursing your child to sleep since infancy.
You don’t have to figure it out alone. I got you.

There's no "right age" to move your child into their own room.
There's only the right moment for your family.
Swipe through for the 6 questions I'd ask you if we were on a call together.
The last one is the one most parents skip and it's the one that actually matters.
For me personally, reflecting on this when I made the move years ago, it was when night weaning my second baby while co-sleeping wasn’t going as well and it was also a good time to move my two daughters into their shared bedroom. For context, they were 1.5 and 4 years old.
If a friend asked the last question in the slide, I would have felt disappointed!
What about you?

I was talking to a mom in a DM and she had a terrible experience sleep training her older child. She abandoned it because it felt too traumatic, but she is now considering revisiting the idea because her second child is latching to sleep and has multiple night wakings.
She thinks she has to do the same approach that was taught to her with her older child.
It’s a little complex now that there are two in the mix. She wants to know if she can get to a point where she can put her baby down, then spend some time with her older child for his bedtime routine.
This is where better RHYTHM comes in!
If you’re like her, having a rhythm helps you:
* have the space to regulate your nervous system
* you know more or less what’s going to happen
* it’s not chaotic
* it’s intentional and supportive to you
* it can be flexible when children get sick or when travelling
The best part? It’s based on connection and the structure supports you as the parent too.
