1. Legs (you can practice breaststroke kick on land(in bed) or use the sidewall at the pool (lay down at the side; legs in the water) - 3 simple steps: (bent, kick, close --- bent your knee(with toes open), kick V shape, close your feet(straight) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uXaX6Ln29c&t=144s
2. Legs - practice with kick board

There are three kinds of float I always ask my students to do.
1. Front float (float like a star fish with arms and legs open facing bottom of the pool--- for 5-10sec)
2. Back float (same as above, but facing the sky, and look slightly behind--- for 5-10 sec)
3. Mushroom/ Ball float (hug your knees up like a ball and float like a ball---this might be the hardest if you're insecure of not holding anything.

Things to note: Do have someone to look after you if you don't know how to swim. Floating requires relaxation, and when you do it, open up your chest and body as flat as a pancake for front&back float.(holding your breathe and release bit by bit are both fine) :D
