As one of the Franklin partnered Reclub hosts, we were truly honoured to be invited to the Franklin APP Pro Showcase, featuring Megan Fudge, Sofia Sewing, Casey Diamond & Tyler DeHeart. The vibes and energy throughout the event was something special.
The morning kicked off in the most festive way with Lion Dance performance 🧨, setting the tone ahead of 🧧Chinese New Year🧧 and welcoming everyone with excitement and tradition. That later followed by opening remarks🎤 from Malaysian Franklin representative, and new Franklin paddle🏓 launch by Megan Fudge.
The event then came alive with mini clinics led by the APP pros, exhibition matches among the APP pros and Malaysian Franklin pros, and the rallies had the crowd fully locked in, it was so electrified⚡ watching world class players showcase their skills up close 🤩.
The event later wrapped up with a signatory✍🏻 session by the APP pros, and we were fortunate enough to have our Franklin flag signed by the Megan Fudge, Sofia Sewing, Casey Diamond & Ryler DeHeart. A meaningful keepsake and a proud moment for Picklechu Inc.
Overall, it was grateful to be part of this event celebrating the 80th year of Franklin. The passion, the community and the vibes were all on point. This is why we love the game ♥️

Hump Day DUPR Recap! It was a slow week 🐌 (missing some of our regulars) and game was only 50% full in the morning 😭. By evening, we were overbooked (due to a logistical boo-boo) so had to give up his precious playing quota to make way 🙏🏿.
One of the benefits of hosting (without playing) is that you get to really observe the players 🧐. You get to analyze the game play, pick out mistakes and cheer the players on when there's a good shot or rally played out 🎉.
Anyway, well done to the 8 pairs who showed up 👏🏿! You guys are da real MVP 🔥! Shoutout to:
1. 🥇 Kenny & Alex - Won 6 out of 7 game, topped the night on point difference. Very strong and consistent performance 💯.
2. 🥈 Vincent & Bevis - Made it for the game even though Bevis's daughter was sick 🤒 and came out 2nd with 6 out of 7 wins. Good mixture of defense/attack play 🛡️🗡️.
3. 🥉 Mae & Walter - 2nd rodeo with us, strong play with good chemistry as usual. Could have been a better night 💪🏿!
4. Khairil & Ridzuan - 1st time joining a Picklechu game, nice and friendly pair with sharp attacking instincts 🔪. Hope to see you guys again✌🏿!
5. Jimmy & .oea - Picklechu's friends who came all the way from PJ 🧡. Jimmy was the 🧱 Great Wall of Defense 🧱 yesterday night, covering the whole court while Ee Ann provided control and precision to their game. Well played!
6. Vern & Chris - This is Chris's 3rd session with a different partner 🤼♂️. Guy's a notorious pickleball sw***er 😏 but still put up a strong game with Vern. Kudos!
7. Fong Liang & - Our very own ⚡ Picklechu OG Sam partnered with Fong Liang (NR) who's a relatively new player. This is really a story of David vs Goliath because they did slay some giants to take home 2 wins ⚔️. So proud of you guys 🧡!
8. .entenz & - Our regulars since we started Hump Day DUPR. Played like ✨ PPA superstars ✨ for ONE game 🤣. Suspected buayas🐊 but trust us, these guys are downright honest; they just had a bad night.

’Twas the night before DUPR, courts buzzing with fear,
“Check the ratings,” they whispered, “that sandbagger’s here.”
Soft d**ks at the kitchen, then BAM—speed-up surprise,
“Relax,” he said smiling, “my DUPR’s not lies.”
Third shots were floating, resets dead and true,
“Don’t worry,” they laughed, “I’m only a two.”
But Ernes were flying, the kitchen got cooked,
By the end of the night… the ratings were shook.
Another DUPR session where our balls got jingled 🥎. Congrats Irfan & Aiman for securing top spot with 6 wins 🏆! Well deserved balls 💯! Giveaway continues next week on 29th Dec. Get your fixed partner and come win some 🆓 balls.
