💡 How the “Rent for 7 days at RM150 / Rent-to-own” Program Could Work & Benefits

Here are advantages and suggestions for structuring such a program:

Benefits to the user / diver

Lower upfront cost / lower risk

Instead of buying the full unit (which may cost several hundred ringgit), paying RM150 for a 7-day rental allows you to “test it out” during your trip.

Good for divers who only occasionally dive or for travel / vacation use.

Access during critical period

If your planned dive trip is, say, a week, having this safety tool during that window is valuable — after the rental period, you return it with no further obligation if you don’t want to own.

Option to convert to ownership

“Rent-to-own” implies that the rental fee may contribute partly toward eventual purchase, or you get the option to buy (deducting rental cost) if you like the unit. ( Terms and conditions applied)

No maintenance costs borne by the renter

The rental provider handles upkeep, battery replacement, calibration, etc. You just use it.
