Jigging trip in Luconia, a huge coral reef system sits in the South China Sea, covered up an area more than 10,000 kilometre²

Anglers mainly targeting bottom species, typically the high eating value Coral Trout.

Some also targeting the pelagic such tuna and gt.

Ichikawa Fishing came out their first lure in year 2021, since then the range has grown into 5 models, mainly Flat Side crankbait.

From the largest 86mm/35g Kingkong Shad to the smallest 45mm/ 5.9g Flat Shad, it has covered multiple depth range and provides 3 different sizes for various conditions.

Malaysian Giant Catfish, "Tapah", is a trophy catch in this region.

They are one of the largest freshwater fish found in both rivers and lakes. Nowadays, a 50-60kg tapah is considered super big but back in the 80', 80-90kg specimens are not a big surprise.

Not as aggressive as the very popular lure target Toman, not as fast as the speedster Sebarau, but Tapah is the most elusive species a lure angler can find.
