If you’re not alert, you may not even notice your buddy is in trouble. In this case, two nearby buddies were very close, but didn’t realise what was happening at first. That’s why we always remind divers: stay close to your buddy. Don’t drift off chasing fish. Situations can change in seconds, with very little time to react.

Stop · Think · Act, this is what Rescue Divers are trained for.
Rules may seem strict, but small overlooked details can lead to serious incidents. Diving should be calm and enjoyable, but it also requires responsibility for each other underwater.

Brought my divers (all 50+ dives) to experience current diving in Indonesia for the first time. And the funny part? What we call “strong current” in Malaysia feels like just a light flow here 😆

It’s a good reminder that diving in one place doesn’t mean you’re ready for everything. Always check the dive profile, current, conditions, and what to expect before going in.
At the end of the day, it’s not about how many dives you have, but what kind of water you’ve been through and how you handle it. Ocean always keeps us humble.
