In 2010 I was fortunate enough to get an opportunity in Japan to play professionally. I grabbed it with both hands and within 3 days, quit my job, moved out of my apartment and was flown to a different country where I didn't know how to speak the language!

This story will blow your mind as it did mine!
and I FIRST met in 2020 at a Men’s Barbershop in TTDI. Since then, we’ve become somewhat of a tag team duo and it’s pretty uncanny how similar we think alike.
About 3 months ago I posted up a photo of my mum and Aaron’s Dad .homework saw it, he messaged me saying he knows my mother. I was pretty suss at first……but…..
Turns out, my mother and Aaron’s mum were best friends at high school and my mum actually introduced Aarons dad to Lorraine way back then!
If you swipe left you’ll see an old class photo of my mum and when they were just 17 years old!
Pretty amazing how years later, the sons became mates without even knowing.
You could also pretty much say that wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for my Mum. 🤣🤔

This is why I love group training…..
Being involved in a group keeps me accountable; meaning I really don’t want to let my team members down, which usually ensures I push harder than I normally would.
Comradery; going through a tough task with like minded people helps me build a connection with the type of characters I want to surround myself with.
Finally: jokes are funnier when you can share a laugh with someone, the same can be said with sharing the load, sometimes the pain of going through a workout can be eased with more people. 😝
