Zambezi or otherwise known as Southern Africa’s “River of Life” is the fourth largest river in Africa, and the biggest that flows into the Indian Ocean.
Using this water source, we aim to retain the best nutrients and bring Always Fresh ® greens to your table by adopting an organic farming process. This includes the use of clean and pure water from the river, responsible farming methods and compost as fertilizers. This ensures a sustainable, natural and organic food system that does not compromise the ecology of the planet. Our belief, crops grow best when it is grown naturally.
As change-makers, our mission at Zambezi Green goes beyond producing Always Fresh® greens and fruits, we strongly believe in being accountable and transparent throughout our farming value chain.
This means driving economic development and social inclusion for the farmers while educating them on techniques to increase crop yield.
This goal is attainable by combining the indigenous knowledge of the farmers and the research experts in the field of organic farming
Here at Zambezi Green, we have a group of researchers who will be providing continuous training and support to the local farmers to enhance their skills and improve yield. Research on innovative organic farming techniques, organic seedlings and organic fertilizers will also be done to ensure soil integrity is not compromised.
Besides, Zambezi Green also open doors for Internship opportunities to like-minded individuals and to educate the younger generation.

We are focused on learning and leveraging on these ancient techniques to propel us forward.
Our commitment focuses on three aspects; growing crops naturally, reducing agricultural wastage and innovating organic agriculture supported by extensive research. This means that from the moment the seedling is rooted, fertilized to the point of harvest, we believe that the gift of Mother Nature is sufficient. Our ancestors have long cracked the code on sustainable farming; our responsibility now is to sustain and scale it.

Our commitment is to improve the economical state of the farmers in Namibia by validating and scaling their organic farming technique. This will empower them to be focused on sustainability rather than just survival. This includes training local farmers on decomposition techniques and scaling their existing sustainable farming method. Our aim is to empower the local famers of Namibia by validating that their existing farming technique is the future.

We aim to produce the freshest and most natural crops by using the clean water that flows from the Zambezi River and organic fertilizer in our farming. This ensures crops retain the best and uncontaminated nutrients from the earth. This is because organic farming uses agricultural techniques and fertilizers that are ‘earth-friendly’ and doesn’t compromise the quality of produce and the earth that bears it.

We are advocators of cultivating a better food and agricultural system that does not compromise the integrity of the land and water. For centuries, many have practiced destructive agricultural practices that resulted in land degradation, fresh water stress and biodiversity loss.
