The BOYS ARE BACK... Okahandja Football Club's men's team is returning to full training on Monday, 20 April with sessions due to start at 17:30 at the GraveYard Field.
This new intensity comes in light of the fact that the NamPort Third Division Okahandja Stream is due to start soon.
The team played a friendly match on Saturday to gauge where the fitness level of the players.
This aspect was found wanting with the coaching staff calling on the players to join the training sessions to work on their fitness.

Round Two... Namibia's Under-17 national women's team will play Kenya in their second leg tie in the FIFA Under-17 World Cup qualifiers in Nairobi.
Two of our girls in Kleinkie Urikhos and Tamara Hangula are in the squad which has recorded some fast times in the first leg.
Namibia narrowly lost 2-1 in Windhoek and will be hoping to overturn that result away from home.
Here's to hoping their speed will see them through.

Urikhos, Hangula make preliminary Baby Gladiators team...

Two players from the Okahandja Football Club ladies' team have linked up with the national U-17 team, dubbed the Baby Gladiators.
Kleinkie Urikhos (left picture) and Tamara Hangula (right picture), who are both forwards were called up as part of an initial 82 group of players. That group was then trimmed to 40, before a squad of 26 was named.
The pair consistently made the team and are now in camp as the players checked in at the NFA Girls Centre on Thursday for the final preparations.

Namibia will face Kenya on the 12th of April 2026 at the UNAM Stadium for the first leg of the FIFA Women's U-17 World Cup Qualifier.
The team is due to fly out to Nairobi Kenya for the away leg game scheduled for 18th of April.

OFC wishes to congratulate our two players for making the national team. This is a credit to the hard work and discipline they have shown. Their selection should be an inspiration to others that they too can be seen, even if they play in the regional league.

All the best to the Baby Gladiators.
