Namibia’s Brave Warriors have begun preparations in Comoros for Tuesday’s AFCON PAMOJA 2027 qualifier in Moroni, with sports scientist Garren Smith leading the squad through its first training session.

The senior men’s national team will look to carry the momentum from their opening-day 1-0 victory over Congo Republic into the crucial encounter. Another strong performance would strengthen Namibia’s bid to secure a place in the tournament proper.

The Brave Warriors face a demanding test away from home, but their opening win has given the squad an encouraging platform as they continue their campaign.

The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations PAMOJA 2027 will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda from June 19 to July 17, 2027.
