What an incredible response from the Namibian running community.

We are proud to announce that 617 runners will be taking part in the inaugural Salt Pan Run this Saturday at the spectacular Walvis Bay Salt Pans. What started as the Lagoon Run has evolved into a truly unique coastal running experience, and the support we've received has exceeded all expectations.

From first-time runners taking on the 2.5km distance to experienced athletes preparing for the half marathon, participants from across Namibia are coming together for a morning of fitness, adventure, and unforgettable scenery.

As the sun rises over the Salt Pans, runners will tackle one of the most unique race routes in the country, surrounded by breathtaking views and the energy of hundreds of fellow participants.

A huge thank you goes out to every runner who entered, our sponsors and partners who helped make this event possible, and everyone who has supported the journey from the very beginning. Your enthusiasm and support have turned this event into something truly special.

Teamflippy Sports Events would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Walvis Bay Salt for coming on board at the last minute with open arms and helping us make this event possible.

When unexpected route changes arose, Walvis Bay Salt stepped forward and worked with us to find a solution. Thanks to their incredible support, the Lagoon Run will now feature an exciting new twist, giving participants the opportunity to experience the spectacular Walvis Bay Salt Pans on a unique route that very few people get the chance to enjoy.

This partnership is about much more than a running event. It is about supporting the community, promoting healthy lifestyles, and creating opportunities for people of all ages to get active through local sporting events.
